Dear Reader,
Feels like the first day in forever since I didn't have to feel bad about having a lazy day. No schedules or projects to worry about, just relaxation. It is a stay-in-your-pajamas-until-you-absolutely-have-to-change kind of day. Of course my bank account is continuing to steadily decline, but I can look into job stuff tomorrow.
It is Sunday, the start of a new week, and it seems only fitting that it would be raining today. I love when it rains, particularly on the days where you can just enjoy it from the warmth and safety of your room. The sky darkens as the rain clouds begin to drift in, you can feel the moisture in the air, the clouds ready to burst. Within a few minutes you are surrounded by plink, plink, drip, drip, drip, shhhhh. The constant flow of water is so calming, it always makes me want to curl up in my bed and just fall back to sleep. And then suddenly its all over. Birds chirp, dogs bark, car doors slam, the sun begins to peak out from behind the clouds letting us now its time to start up again.
Rain just seems to help wash away everything, making way for a new beginning.
