Carpe Diem

Dear Reader,

Not really sure how to start, I have never really done this before so I will probably be pretty awkward till I get the hang of it.

Anyways, why even write a blog in a first place? I guess for myself there are several reasons. First I want to practice my writing and photo skills over the summer so this is kind of something to help me stay on track, a project I guess. Please leave comments to let me know how I am doing :). Second I believe that we spend too much time in our day-to-day routine, sometimes to the point where we get stuck. It can be scary to try something new, to change, but I want to try and make the most of each day with new experiences. I want to try everything, really everything I can. For me this will help me to keep a record of how I am doing. I believe it is experiences that mold us so who knows, maybe I will be a different person by the time school starts again.

The main reason for starting this blog and the hardest to admit is because I am looking for some kind of connection. I have just finished my second year of college and my first year of art school. I have been doing well on the outside as far as grades and have been improving as far as my creative skills go, but I feel so empty on the inside. I have been trying to figure who I really am and I feel like I cannot do it alone anymore. Please watch over me during this journey and let me know if I falter. Even though I don't know you yet I can already feel we are connected in a way.

I will try not to be so formal in the future,but as with any relationship it will probably get easier with time.
